History

When the Applegate Trail was re-routed in 1920 along Jenny Creek it became what is now the Green Springs Highway (Hwy. 66). The Pinehurst Inn at Jenny Creek was built at this time as a roadhouse from logs harvested from the property. In 1985 Don & Jean Rowlett purchased the Pinehurst and undertook a major restoration and in early 2005 Ira & Susanna Krizo took over the property.
